Twelve years of work to create inside the Schifanoia Palace a place where "schifare" (disgust) the boredom is a soul gesture which goes at the same time with yourself own finding. "Yourself", chalice of wine and a best local traditional dish in the shade of the same trees which Duke seen. Watching the lower band of "Salone dei Mesi"'s freschi I haven't seen nothing different of what happens with seasons alternate in this garden. So, the central and superior band of freschi are equivalent, in our life, at glance that we give at the art when the food and sleeping are not more enough. I asked myself on which table a man or a woman have to eat to notice that even a simple dish and a simple chalice complains their beauty right. Sometimes I see the kids seated at the table with their families and ask myself how much affects their lives the image of a place like this if, on the contrary, growing up in the periphery can hurt them so much. This is how the art contamination in daily function of eat and drink gives us the hope of a new man which feels, loves, dreams but lives his lively functions in different way. It's a new way which shapes in art images and ubiquitous classical and jazz notes in these evergreen days of this garden where the work and beauty finally stop to look different. This pictures and notes becomes words, written and hanged on the wall, in a menu which reveals his textbook, literary work, schoolbook past. The natural observation that I want to do about Simone Bavia's work is that there aren't neither one thing in the world which can't become a work of art. Avant-garde understands it, and exposed kitchen tools in a museum, but anyone of us can understand it, seated at the table in a place where the food rhythm isn't detached by a soccer match or by stupid television programs but by a picture, a sculpture, an object that in this new way to see the reality knows that it wouldn't die anymore.
